PDRN

What is PDRN?

PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a bioactive substance consisting of small DNA fragments. These fragments come from salmon and are known for their Skin-restoring and regenerative properties. PDRN promotes cell renewal, improves skin elasticity, and supports the skin's natural healing process.

How does PDRN work on the skin?

PDRN works on several levels:

  • Stimulates cell renewal by activating fibroblasts, leading to increased collagen production.
  • Improves wound healing and skin repair, especially for damaged or sensitive skin.
  • Increases elasticity and hydration of the skin.
  • Reduces inflammation and redness, making it suitable for sensitive or irritated skin.

Why salmon DNA?

Salmon DNA is nearly identical to human DNA in structure, making it is excellently tolerated by the skin. The extraction process includes:

  1. Isolation of DNA made from salmon.
  2. Purification and fragmentation to small chains (300–2000 base pairs).
  3. Sterile processing to make it suitable for cosmetic or medical use.

These fragments are small enough to to penetrate deep into the skin layers, where they can exert their regenerative effect.
