KAINE refuses to use animal ingredients and to conduct animal testing throughout the entire process of product development, production and distribution.

The products are certified as vegan cosmetics by EVE VEGAN (a French certification body). Kaine chose EVE VEGAN® because the certification process is thorough throughout the entire process, right up to the product's release. While some vegan certification bodies only assess product ingredients, EVE VEGAN® checks for the use of animal-based ingredients, including all packaging and potential for cross-contamination in the factory. This makes EVE VEGAN® a very demanding certification, but to be a truly vegan brand, Kaine insists on this certification.
