Ginseng

In the Korean herbal book Donguibogam, ginseng is considered an important oriental medicine and is listed as "Shincho," meaning "herb of the gods." Hwang Jini, known as the most beautiful woman of the Joseon Dynasty, used a ginseng decoction as bathwater. The rich saponins in ginseng contribute to rapid hydration of the skin and help retain it deep within the skin for a long time, contributing to healthy skin.
